Sigh…

I never imagined I would love my dog Ruby as much as I do.  I have yearned and pined for a dog since I was little. (OK, truth be told, it was also for a horse in the early years).  My parents just weren’t willing to take on a dog with six kids–like they would have even noticed…sheesh.

But Ruby was so completely and totally worth the wait.  Our morning walks are something I look forward to every single day.  And she is my near constant companion, even coming to the studio with me most days.  I’m not sure if people stop to look at my windows for the images or to see Ruby wagging her entire body — either way, they walk away with a smile on their face.

So for those of you who treasure your furry family members as much as I do, why not create a piece of art that features the creatures?
